1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Ahmed Turk ("Dolapy", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Dolapy mobile app (the "App"). Dolapy is a virtual try-on and styling app: you create a personal "twin" from a photo, try garments on it, and receive fit and styling suggestions.

2. What information we collect

We only collect what the App needs to work. Specifically:

Location (only while using the App, with your permission)	Your approximate or precise location.	To show local weather for outfit planning. We ask in-app before requesting the system permission, and you can decline.
Calendar (with your permission)	Read access to your calendar events; optionally writing planned outfits back.	To suggest outfits for upcoming events.
Usage analytics	Anonymous events about how the App is used (screens viewed, features used). Tied to a random identifier, not your name.	To understand and improve the App.
Diagnostics	Crash reports and error logs.	To detect and fix problems.
Push token	A device push-notification token.	To send you the notifications you enable (e.g. planner reminders).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your photos to train advertising profiles.

3. How your photos are processed

Your try-on photos are central to the App, so we want to be specific:

• Photos you provide are uploaded to our secure storage to create your twin and try-on images.
• To generate the try-on and avatar images, photos are sent to our AI image-processing provider (fal.ai) which renders the result and returns it to us. They process the images to perform the rendering and do not use them for unrelated purposes.
• You can delete your twin, individual renders, or your whole account at any time (see Section 7).

4. AI styling features

When you chat with the in-app stylist, the messages you send are processed by our AI provider (Anthropic, the maker of Claude) to generate styling suggestions. Don't share information in the chat that you wouldn't want processed for that purpose.

5. Service providers (sub-processors)

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the App. Each only receives the data needed for its function:

6. Legal bases for processing

Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, we process your data on these bases:

• Performance of a contract — to provide the core App features you sign up for (account, try-on, planner).
• Consent — for location, calendar access, analytics, and push notifications. You can withdraw consent at any time in the App or your device settings.
• Legitimate interests — to keep the App secure and to fix errors, balanced against your rights.

If you are in Türkiye, we process personal data in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK No. 6698). If you are in Saudi Arabia, we process personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL). In each case we rely on equivalent legal grounds to those above.

7. Your rights and choices

You can, at any time:

• Access, correct, or delete your data — most data is editable in the App, and you can delete your twin, renders, saved content, or your entire account.
• Withdraw permissions — turn off location, calendar, or notifications in your device settings.
• Request a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it, by emailing ahmedtork01@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.
• Complain to your data-protection authority if you believe we've mishandled your data — in the EU, your national authority; in Türkiye, the KVKK Board; in Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA).

8. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data, including your photos and twin, except where we must keep limited records to meet legal obligations.

9. Children

Dolapy is not directed to children. You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the App. We do not knowingly collect data from children under that age; if you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you and the authorities of any breach as required by law.

11. International transfers

Some providers listed in Section 5 process data outside your country (for example, PostHog in the United States). Where required, such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the App evolves. We will post the new version in the App and update the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be highlighted in the App.
